The French Riviera has a huge range of wonderful wedding venues in the most idyllic settings for a range of budgets and group sizes. From hotels and beach-side restaurants to fabulous villas and private domains, country clubs, chateaus and wineries, the South of France region offers a wealth of possibilities for both wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The Recommended Wedding Venues section of www.my-riviera-wedding.com is not intended to be a complete listing of all of the venues on the Cote d’Azur, there are plenty of directory-type websites available offering this type of ‘pay to be viewed’ service such as www.1001salles.com or www.abcsalles.com. What I have tried to do is really select my very favourites and those I believe to be the best adapted to weddings, never recommending a venue without visiting it first.
I have concentrated mainly on venues on the Cote d’Azur within the official boundaries between Théoule and Menton (the 06 postal code area plus Monaco), making sure that venues are conveniently located close enough within the Nice Cote d’Azur Airport catchment area for those coming to the French Riviera from abroad. I have only listed a few venues in the Var (83 postal code area); mainly wineries, as this type of venue is nonexistent along the coast. I have not included Saint Tropez, situated west of Théoule, in my venue guide as I believe it to be overpriced, overcrowded and overhyped. The town is also considerably further from Nice Cote d’Azur airport at up to 2.5 hours by car in high season traffic.
