The Château-Hôtel La Vignette Haute is definitely one of the most character-filled wedding venues that I have ever come across on the French Riviera. Nestled into the luscious green Tanneron hills overlooked by the charming 13th century village of Auribeau-sur-Siagne, this medieval style hotel and restaurant is located conveniently at only 30 minutes drive from Nice airport, 20 minutes from Cannes and the nearest beach and 10 minutes from Grasse. Despite the fact that the venue was constructed only 20 years ago, the place feels so full of history that one could believe quite easily that the property dates back to the same era as Auribeau-sur-Siagne.
With its 16 bedrooms, the majority of which are situated in the beautiful, ivy covered main building, the Château-Hôtel La Vignette Haute has a 4 star luxury rating and is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group. If you wish to rent out all of the rooms in the hotel and have the venue just for you and your guests for your wedding, the 16 rooms are priced at 220 Euros per room per night.
The 110 metre square terrace has a fabulous view and along with the swimming pool area is an ideal spot to start your wedding celebrations with a pre-dinner drink.
When darkness falls, the venue is lit by over 400 oil lamps, creating a super romantic atmosphere.
Dinner can be served either inside the cosy restaurant (maximum capacity 150 seated, 200 standing) or on the terrace (maximum capacity 100 seated, 150 standing) depending on the season. The restaurant is composed of 3 different spaces, which can be left completely open to make one big room or closed to create either 2 or 3 smaller spaces depending on the size of your group. For weddings, clients are granted exclusive use of the entire restaurant for upwards of 110 guests. One of the most wonderfully quirky things about the Château-Hôtel La Vignette Haute is that while eating your dinner, you have a couple of sheep, goats and a pony for company in a glass-walled animal pen adjacent to the restaurant!
The wedding menu is priced at 120 Euros per head and includes canapés, starter, main course and dessert with the option to have a traditional french ‘Pièce Montée ‘ wedding cake, wine, mineral water, coffee and petit fours. On the menu are a mix of typically Provencal dishes and French classics with a Mediterranean twist. The venue allows clients to bring their own Champagne for a corkage fee of 4 euros per person. An open bar with Champagne and a full range of alcohol is priced at 30 Euros per person for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of service. The Château-Hôtel La Vignette Haute can put together a special menu for children from 4 to 10 years of age, priced at 50 euros per child. Under 4s eat free of charge.
All dance parties must be held inside the restaurant area due to sound regulations in the local area. After 1am, 230 Euros must be paid for each supplementary hour.
The venue only has a few parking spaces but there is ample parking in the village car park located at a very short walk from the Vignette Haute.

Hi Kerry,
We are very interested in this venue as well!! Very interested. It seems like these rooms are lower priced than in Eze which is better for us as well. We would like all 16 rooms for our guests . Can you see about that availability in May as we would like to have it around the Cannes film festival if possible. Let me know !
