Mandala Beach is one of my favourite beach restaurants in Cannes and is somewhere I love to go and eat dinner with friends on a summer’s evening. The Mandala is an ideal venue for both beach wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. The venue can be hired for exclusive use year round, even during the high season months of July and August (with the exception of the evenings which the Cannes firework competition takes place). This is rather exceptional as the majority of the private beaches along the Cote d’Azur that rent out sun loungers for sun bathing are often not available for exclusive use during the high season.
The Mandala has a wooden decked terrace area which can be covered in case of bad weather or left fully open. The terrace area can hold up to 150 people for a seated dinner. Weather permitting, tables and chairs can also be placed directly on the sand for a more relaxed vibe. The venue can provide tables and chairs, table cloths and napkins, crockery and cutlery and glass ware for up to 200 people. The beach is really at its best following the addition of decoration and lounge furniture (not provided by the venue but can be organised through the beach’s preferred decoration supplier JD Deco).
The menus proposed by the Mandala for weddings offer pretty good value for money, priced upwards of 80 Euros per head including privisation of the venue, a welcome cocktail, canapés, 3 courses, coffee, wine and mineral water (minimum guest numbers apply). On the menu are a large range of delicious French specialities using quality ingredients such as ‘fois gras’, scallops, king prawns, lobster and duck. The Mandala can provide a sushi bar, a cocktail bar and dinner canapé menus as an alternative to a seated dinner.

Hi Alexandra, thank you very much for your enquiry regarding the Mandala beach in Cannes four wedding in 2011 for 150 people. I have just sent you an email and look forward to hearing from you soon. Warm regards, Kerry
Hi Kerry,
This is a lovely venue, would it be possible to send me a bit more information on it. I’m interested in having both the ceremony and reception there for around 50 people.
Thanks,
Vicki
This is a lovely venue, would it be possible to send me a bit more information on it. I’m interested in having both the ceremony and reception there for around 6-12 people.
Thank You So Very Much,
Heather
Hi Heather, thanks for your comment I have replied to you by email to let you know that I am not sure if the Mandala will be able to accept a group of this size for a ceremony and reception. The venue has a capacity of over 100 for seated dinners so will not be able to give exclusive use of the venue for such a small group. However, they may be able to section off a small part of the venue for you. You should also be aware that as private beach restaurants rent out sun loungers in the day time for sunbathers, ceremonies can not be started before 18.30 at the very earliest, depending on the season, the start time can be as late as 8pm. Kind regards, Kerry
